Support

All OK is an app for iPhone and Apple Watch that lets the people you choose know if you have not been heard from for a while. You check in from time to time; if a check-in is missing for longer than the interval you picked, the service emails the people you listed.

How to reach us

Write to support@romanesco.app — it is our only support channel. We normally reply within 3 business days; requests about personal data (export, correction, deletion) are answered within 30 days.

It is easier to write from inside the app: “Profile” → “Feedback”. The message opens with the technical details already filled in, which helps us understand what happened faster.

To help us help you, describe what you did, what you expected and what you got, plus the date and time it happened.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete my account?

In the app: “Profile” → “Delete account”. It is a single action and cannot be undone. Your account, name, settings, recipient list, all check-ins with their coordinates, sessions and device tokens are removed immediately. Some things live longer: the sign-in code-sending log (up to 24 hours; it stores an email address), server logs, support correspondence and database backups. What lives on and for how long is in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

My recipient did not get the email. Why?

Check, in this order:

Delivery depends on the recipient’s mail provider and is not guaranteed — see the Terms of Use. If none of this explains it, write to us.

How do I turn location sharing off?

Location access is controlled by the operating system: open its settings, go to the privacy and location services section and deny access to the app. There is no separate switch inside the app at the moment.

What that does and does not do:

Coordinates of check-ins already made are not deleted when you revoke the permission: they are deleted together with your account, or earlier if you ask us at support@romanesco.app. The coordinates stored on the device itself are beyond our reach and we cannot delete them on request: deleting your account in the app clears the iPhone’s copy, while the watch keeps its copy until the app is removed from the watch.

What technical details does the in-app feedback form add?

The app and build version, the device model, the operating-system version, the interface language, your email address and your account identifier. You can see them in the message before you send it and can delete anything you would rather not send — though that makes the problem harder to investigate.

The sign-in code does not arrive

Check your spam folder and that the address is correct. A code is valid for 5 minutes; the number of entry attempts and the number of code requests are limited — if you hit a limit, wait and try again later. If code emails never arrive at all, write to us from another address.

Monitoring switched itself off

That is by design: after a series of alerts in one incident, monitoring switches off so that emails do not go out forever. Turn it back on in the app.

How do I request my data?

Your profile, settings and recipients are visible in the app. Of your latest check-in the main screen shows only how long ago it was, and only while monitoring is on: the app has no check-in history and no exact timestamp. For those, and for a full export, write to support@romanesco.app — we answer within 30 days.

I received an alert email but never signed up for anything

That means one of our users listed you as a recipient — their name or email address is in the message. Write to support@romanesco.app and we will remove your address from that recipient list.
